Spider-Man

Spider-Man (aka. Peter Parker ) started when he was just 17 years old. Since then he has gained many allies but also many foes. Peter became Spider-Man when his uncle Ben was killed. When a thief was stealing cash and he refused to help, the thief ran into his Uncle Ben and when Ben tried to stop the thief, he shot him in cold blood. Peter then used his ability to walk on walls and developed his own web shooters and finally he became Spider-Man.

His arch enemies are the sinister six, venom, Doctor Octopus and the Green Goblin. But, Spider-Man has one of the biggest selection of enemies alongside Batman and The Flash.

 

 

Peter Parker's first girlfriend was Gwen Stacey but she was killed when the Green Goblin threw her off of a bridge and when Spider-Man swung to catch her he missed so he spun a web to catch her but it caught her neck and when it tightened it snapped her neck.

 

 

 

His second girlfriend was Mary Jane Watson. She was never killed and is still in the comics today.

 

 

 

There has been four live action films of Spider-Man. There was Spider-Man 1-3 with Tobey Maguire and then there was the new Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield.

Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider (aka. Johnny Blaze ) is a stunt motorcyclist who sold his soul to the Devil and in return the Devil would cure his father from cancer. After he was cured the Devil had his father killed in a stunt. Johnny became a walking flaming skeleton who has the power to look into peoples eyes and drain out their souls and also he had a weapon of a flaming chain and a ghost motorbike.

 

Ghost Riders arch enemies were Mephisto and Blackheart. Ghost Rider has had two films "Ghost Rider" and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence".

Hulk

When Dr Bruce Banner got infected with gamma radiation, it meant that whenever he got angry he became a huge green monster called the Hulk. Having incredible strength, he can battle all of his biggest foes including the Abomination, Thunderbolt Ross or the Red Hulk ( Red Hulk did eventually turn into a hero but to start off with he was a villain ) and the Leader.

 

 

 

During a battle with Dr Doom,his cousin, Jennifer, was turned into She-Hulk.

 

 

 

Also, the Hulk has had a film called "The Incredible Hulk" and also appeared in "The Avengers" and Dr Banner made an appearance after the credits in "Iron Man 3".

Dr Strange

Dr Stephen Vincent Strange is the sorcerer supreme. He uses his magic for good and can teleport, fly and fire magic beams at his enemies. His first appearance was in "Strange Tales #110" in July 1963. He was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. His arch enemies were Baron Mordo and Dormammu.

 

 

Also, Marvel studios have planned a Dr Strange film but no casting or release date have been announced yet.

Ant-Man

Ant-Man (aka. Scott Lang ) is one of the original avengers. Ant-Man has the power to turn really small and then become human size again. After Dr Doom murdered his daughter, Ant-Man seeked revenge. Even though there were other Ant-Men, Scott Lang was the most famous and lasted the longest.

 

 

In the New Marvel Now comics, in the FF (Future Foundation ), Ant-Man leads a team called the "Antastic Four". This team consisted of himself as the leader, She-Hulk as the strength, Medusa as the beauty and Female Thing as the novice.

 

Also, coming out on November the 6th 2015 from Marvel studios is Ant-Man the film.

 

 

Ant-Man's lover was another tiny avenger called Wasp. Her real name was Janet Van Dyne. She could fly and blast small but tiny yellow lasers from her hands.

 

 

Later on in the comics Ant-Man gained the ability to be able to turn himself massive as well as being able to turn small. When Ant-Man turned small he was called Ant-Man and when he turned massive he was called Giant-Man.

DareDevil

I think DareDevil is awesome! Even though he was blinded by radioactive chemicals he actually has better vision than anyone else on Earth as he sees through vibrations so this means that he can see people hiding behind objects. Trained by the Hand who were a ninja clan, he uses his abilities to fight villains such as the Kingpin and Bullseye. When Bullseye killed Elektra, who was the love of his life, he seeked revenge and in Shadowland #1 DareDevil killed him.

Also check out the film of DareDevil with Ben Affleck as DareDevil, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Colin Farrell as Bullseye and Michael Clarke Duncan as the crime lord Kingpin.

Fantastic Four

I've recently read the new Marvel Now Fantastic Four. It was so exciting when the Fantastic Four left Earth to go to outer space and also it's so funny at the beginning when Ant-man is sneaking around the Latvian Art museum. I can't wait for volume two.

 

Also, has anyone else seen the Fantastic Four films. I think they're great. Although it was wierd when the actor of The Human Torch ended up playing Captain America. The films had the coolest villains of the Fantastic Four being Dr Doom and Galactus. It was brilliant how they managed to include the Silver Surfer. Has anyone seen the Lego minifigure of Dr Doom in the Ultimate Spider-Man Daily Bugle set.
